Membership Requirements

To qualify for ICITP membership, applicants must demonstrate relevant qualifications and/or experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. Requirements vary by membership tier:

  • Student Members: Currently enrolled in an accredited ICT qualification programme.
  • Associate Members: Hold an accredited ICT qualification (NQF Level 6+) or have 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Chartered Members: Hold an accredited ICT qualification (NQF Level 7+) with 5+ years of experience, and pass the CITP board examination.

All members are expected to adhere to the ICITP Code of Ethics and commit to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
